Craig Bickel, Senior Pastor
I'm a leader in a community of faith because I love seeing 'eyes of Grace'. That is what excites me as a Pastor, when I am able to look into the eyes of Jesus and see His amazing love for me. I have seen His 'eyes of grace' often in my life, and how sweet those times are. I also love when people understand Jesus is looking at them with 'eyes of Grace'. I love when old and young eyes light up because they know Jesus calls them valuable.

Elinor Bach, Director of Worship
I love serving Jesus through music! I’m excited about the new journey we’re taking in worship. What excites me most about ministry at Immanuel are the hearts of the people I’ve met and the potential this church has to reach people with the love of Jesus in Grand Rapids. People love Jesus here and want to help others know and love Him too—that’s a beautiful thing. I can’t wait for the wonderful relationship building God has in store for this place!

Linda Bartusch, Hand Bell Director
I love serving at Immanuel because of the opportunity it provides to help build up the body of Christ through the amazing gift of music. I am so blessed by all He has daily given me that serving with the bell choirs is just a small way to give Him thanks and praise. It is a gift to share each week in prayer, music and joyful fellowship with the dedicated hand bell ringers who serve with me at Immanuel. To God be the glory!

Irene Beethe, Organist/Liturgical Worship
What excites me about ministry is being able to proclaim the Gospel through the hymnody and liturgy of the Lutheran church! Immanuel's 56-rank organ enables me to provide the congregation with vibrant leadership as they sing their faith in Jesus, their Lord and Savior.

I love serving at Immanuel because it is a great way for me to grow in my faith. What excites me about discipleship ministry is helping people discover and find ways to use their God-given talents and abilities to glorify Him and serve others. Immanuel provides many opportunities for our members to help connect people to Jesus and we are always looking for more.

Danella Joslin, Admin. Assistant
I see my position as a way to serve the congregation by using my God-given gifts and talents for His glory. Among recruiting office volunteers, preparing Sunday bulletins, and other clerical activities, I am often the first contact people have with Immanuel, whether by phone or in person. I especially enjoy the relationships I am able to build with the members of Immanuel.

What excites me about my ministry at Immanuel is the opportunity I have, along with parents, to help build a firm foundation of faith in Immanuel's children. It is a joyous feeling on Sunday mornings to see the many eager smiles on the faces of Jesus' little children.
