Children’s Worship is a time to focus on Jesus and God’s Word. It is a special time for worship and praise in a way that children, ages 3 yrs old through first grade can actively participate and understand. During children’s worship we will pray, learn a Bible verse, have a teacher led devotion with discussion, and songs. Occasionally, children will be sent home with an activity to do with their family to further their understanding for that week. We want to stress that this is a time for praising God and not a time to “play.” If you feel that your child is able to participate in this type of worship, encourage them to join us. We would love for all the children to participate! Not only does this give them a special time to focus on Jesus with their friends, it also allows for you to focus your attention on God's Word. Children's Worship is held in both services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays and at the late service only on the rest of the Sundays during the month.
High School Youth
Sunday mornings we will be digging into our bibles to find out what grace is all about, doing some in-depth studies on different books of the bible, and learning what it means to be a child of God!
Plugged-In: Games, Christian music, Bible study, and how to apply Jesus principles to our everyday lives will be on tap on Sunday nights! Be sure to watch the bulletin and newsletter for what dates we will meet each month. Can hardly wait to see what God has in store for us!
Contact Jennifer McGraw if you have any questions.

Jesus once said, “If you confess me before men, I will confess you before My Father in heaven.” Our confirmation ministry is geared to prepare people to understand what it means to confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We offer two confirmation programs:
Our Jr. High Confirmation program focuses on preparing these students to live lives committed to Christ. We meet on Sunday evenings for song, bible/catechism study, and small group application time.
Our Adult “Discovery Classes” take place two times a year for 12 weeks. In this class new people to Immanuel meet to discuss the basics of the Christian faith, Immanuel’s mission and vision for ministry, and to begin living as a community of faith and not just as individual members.
If you would like more information you can contact Danella or Pastor Craig with questions.
Growing in God’s Word and building strong, lasting relationships with other Christian children are the focuses of Sunday school at Immanuel. Sunday school is a time for children age 3 years through 5th grade to participate in a multi-aged group opening, with singing directed by Leslie Hess, Immanuel’s choir director, followed by an age-appropriate Bible lesson. All of the Sunday school teachers at Immanuel have a God-given talent to teach. Each week Bible stories are taught using a variety of methods: crafts, skits, puppets, games, etc. This helps reinforce the message in each lesson and allows the students to have fun while learning about the love of Jesus. The friendships that begin in Sunday school will continue to grow over the course of the years. It is our hope that by the time the students reach middle and high school, these established friendships will be in place, setting a solid foundation of caring and faith during the pivotal years in a young person’s life. Sunday school is held during the school year from 9:50-10:40 and in conjunction with multiple Bible studies for parents to continue in their journey with Christ.
