Connecting Through Worship
|
Our worship times are on Sunday mornings at 8:30am and 11:00am. Sunday School and adult Bible study is at 9:50 am.
Nursery care is avaible during the services for children ages 2 and younger.
The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) has a rich heritage of hymns and hymn singing. To many LCMS Lutherans the beloved traditional hymns create an atmosphere of majesty that enhances Sunday morning worship. At the same time Lutherans of all ages love the gospel sounds and songs. At Immanuel our traditional/liturgical service uses the best of both worlds to worship the God who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Also in the LCMS we are seeing that psalms and spiritual songs are a great gift to focus on God and draw hearts to Jesus. That is why we launched a contemporary service on Sept. 12, 2010. This service is now held every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Whichever style is your preference, the focus is always our Savior Jesus Christ.
Music sets the stage for the most important part of worship, the Word and Sacraments. Immanuel has a long history of strong, Bible based preaching and teaching that can be immediately applied as members and friends Connect to Jesus in their daily lives.
The music, teaching and preaching are all bathed in prayer as we work hard to be a praying church.
From the Monday after Father's Day to Labor Day we also offer a Monday evening service at 7:00pm.
